Mountains, geysers, waterfalls and forests, together with Maori culture, make excellent photo subjects. Best time to photograph: The air is fresh and clear and the light good all year round except, perhaps, when it is raining! Where to buy film: Film and camera batteries are readily available in shops, pharmacies, airports etc. WHEN DEPARTING There is an airport departure tax equivalent to NZ$20, payable on all international flights. Transit passengers and those under two years of age are exempt. There is no limit to the amount of New Zealand currency that may be exported. You should arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure time. |
